Our Team

As an undergraduate engineering design team, Autonomous Aerial Vehicles at Virginia Tech (AAV) is fully student-run and managed by a diverse team of students from all majors. Primarily composed of undergraduate student members, AAV has developed multiple autonomous aerial systems that are capable of payload delivery, obstacle avoidance, terrain mapping, and search and rescue. Each year, AAV displays its expertise by competing in the international AUVSI SUAS competition.
